HE INDEED IS THE BEST OF ALL PLANNER
Mon, Tue, KR was freaking out for not getting the registration rims done yet, and the clinic session was supposed to be Wed morning 9am. Couldnt go to the lab on Tue morning, thanks to CDH session with the first years. Still got the afternoon, okeh relax relax. Meant to finish the upper and lower rims in the 3-hours session. A bit too far-fetched huh? Well angels do sometimes come down and give a hand (uihh positive positive). Ewing was apparently making it difficult for KR. "why cant u make the anterior 6mm? i told u it was 6mm! this is too thin" when Greg just took away some wax from THAT particular area. And Ron effectively smoothed the sulci-extension, rendering it short for 2-3mm. And Greg looked at KR with disbelieve. KR knew it was short, but wasnt it Ron who made it short? KR was close to tears at one point. It was 5pm, and the lab was closing, and the upper rim was still not good enough to be used on patient, and KR hasnt even started on the lower. And KR has just confirmed the appointment with the garang pakcik for the next morning! Planned to stay until 6, and Ron again effectively came in and told the 3rd years off. Fair enough. Gotta cancel the appointment. So KR called the pakcik at 6 o'clock and cancelled. Alhamdulillah he was okay with it. KR was upset the whole evening. TURNED OUT the following morning (well this is the twist bit of the story) that the jaw-registration demonstration in the clinic took Dr Bowman a good 1 and a half hour. The colleagues were already restless, their patients waiting outside for what was to be 9am appointment, and Dr Bowman was taking his time. Well, there was a lot to go through tho, wasnt anyone's fault. At that point, KR knew it! She had the answer to why Allah didnt want her to finish the reg rims and get the patient that morning. Besides the -learning-the-hard-way-and-know-it-by-heart reason, KR knew the pakcik garang must have been soo upset and all angry should he had to wait for the 1 and a half hour demonstration before KR could get to him and do something. Again, all praise is due to Allah =).
And this morning, KR just decided just after the fajr prayer not to attend the 8 o'clock lecture because she was all penat and needed a break (kepada kanak2 out there, dont try this at home). She knew she was gonna miss a lot, it was Dr Wong's ortho lecture! Tapikan what could be more tempting than the fluffy wool quilt when the body really really needs a rest? At 8 she opened the uni mail that she didnt have time to last night and here's the announcement from the coordinator:
Dear All,
Dr Wong's wife has just gone into labour, so he will not be able to give his lecture
tomorrow at 8am.
If you have any colleagues who do not routinely read their emails, please inform them
We will reschedule the lecture at another time

Did KR not mention that HE INDEED IS THE BEST PLANNER??
